Fall Blush Favorites

fall-blush-favorites

I know I’ve said before (like a hundred times) blush and nude are two of my staple colors in my closet. I’m pretty pale and light neutrals don’t wash me out so they are my everyday go-to. A lot of people are uncertain how to wear pink or white after Labor Day. I wear blush and nude all year round because I think they look great in winter especially because I’m extra pale by December or January. I wear a lot of black too so I think they go really well to lighten up darker colors and heavier fabrics of Fall and Winter. For me, Fall is sort of a weird color time. I love sweaters and coats and scarves and all things generally Fall. However, the usual Fall colors (orange, green, red) are not my colors. Last Fall I bought my first army green jacket (yay me!) and loved it. I think it goes so well with all my blush and nude pieces. It was a really simple way to get that Fall look, but with colors that really work for me.

I’ve been finding tons of great blush and nude pieces already this year. Which makes me really happy because it’s usually a struggle to find anything I really love. I have to say the one thing in particular that I know I have to have is this Tory Burch Crossbody. I have a similar style in black from two years ago and have just worn it out. Which in my mind makes it worth the price tag because I used the hell out of that purse. I’m also a huge fan of the Chanel look-alike flats that are popping up everywhere. Number 1 is a great option but I have this pair from Zara with a small heel and wear them almost every day for work. Bonus the Zara pair is only $40! I also happened to spot this Kate Spade fitness tracker and thought it was so adorable. Definitely a cute way to do fitness tracking if you aren’t into wearing a Fitbit. Let’s be honest those aren’t exactly chic arm candy. I invested in a gold and white Apple watch in the Spring and love it. I like the fitness tracker on it and the watch is way more useful to me than an expensive Fitbit. But if you aren’t in the market to make an investment in it, this Kate Spade option is really great.

Do you have any go-to colors for Fall? Anyone else in the same group that’s just not a Fall color palette kind of girl?
