You know what tomorrow is, Cinco de Mayo! Most people probably associate this as a great holiday to drink lots of margaritas and it is perfect for that. But I personally think it’s the best holiday to eat as much queso as possible. I mean I did read that cheese is as addictive as cocaine which I have absolutely no problem believing.
Since I’m having a delayed celebration at the weekend, I’m just going to settle for a low-key actual Cinco de Mayo. You know with breakfast tacos, lunch tacos, and dinner tacos. I may also make my low calorie pink lemonade margaritas too, because low calorie duh! If you are feeling in the mood for a fresh fruit margarita, my watermelon margaritas are absolutely delicious.
To get some inspiration for Cinco de Mayo, I’ve been perusing Pinterest lots lately. I created an entire Cinco de Mayo Pinterest board full of recipes, party ideas, and drinks! I’m not much a diy person, but I found lots of good party decor ideas that even people like me can make, i.e. people who don’t own any sort of craft supplies. There are also lots of recipes for tiny tacos, queso, and guacamole. Going to be honest I don’t eat avocado because I’m allergic, so someone else will need to try this guac recipe and report back if it was good!
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
