It’s almost the weekend! Since you have the whole weekend ahead of you and it’s supposed to rain anyway, you should have plenty of time to play with some new makeup. I’ve got a roundup of my favorite five products on Birchbox under $25. I use these products regularly and don’t even know what my beauty routine would be without them.
Laqa & Co Lip Pencil – $20
Laqa & Co lip pencils are the most amazing things ever. They go on kind of like a lip balm/chapstick but have a really bright bold color. They are perfect for keeping in your pocket or tossing in a small purse for a day out. Bonus, this stuff lasts for a looooong time.
Ruffian Varnish Top Coat – $10
I am obsessed with Ruffian nail polishes. My absolute favorite nude nail polish is made by them. But I only recently got myself the top coat when my old Essie top coat ran out. I will always be using this top coat. It’s amazing and doesn’t take much to leave a shiny, smooth top coat.
Smashbox liner is no joke. This stuff has a sharpener in the cap so your liner is seriously always sharp. I only recently went back to the world of kohl liners and ditched the liquid liner. I don’t really know why, I think I got a sample in a Birchbox and was like oh I’ll try this and really loved it so I stuck with it. If you’re looking to change up your liquid liner routine, this liner is the one to try. The sharp point makes it so much easier to apply and leaves that clean line you get with liquid liners.
I feel like I talk about this mascara all the time but I don’t care. It’s the absolute best mascara on the planet. Just get it and try it then tell me and I’ll shut up about it.
I can’t say enough good things about this lip balm. It’s my go-to everyday lip balm especially when I have dry lips. It has some color to it, but is still super moisturizing like you want your lip balm to be. I’ve tried most shades and love them all. If you just want an awesome lip balm but no color, good news they have clear.
