Do you ever have those weeks where it feels like the longest week in history? I spent most of Tuesday thinking it was Wednesday and the motivation for the week steeply dropped off at that point. I have actually been pretty productive this week despite not wanting to try at it. I’m back in the routine of going to barre class because I hadn’t been going often with everything I’ve had to get done lately. I’ve also been trying to read for 20 minutes before bed every night which is really relaxing. I’m trying not to use my phone before bed because I have a serious problem with wasting time looking at nothing and probably ruining my sleep for the night. Anyone trying to be better at logging out earlier at night?
This week’s Friday Five has the five things that have made my life a little more sane this week.
The Singles Game by Lauren Weisberger – I just got this book and am already dying to read it this weekend. I love Lauren’s books like The Devil Wears Prada and Everyone Worth Knowing. I always played tennis growing up so I’m extra excited about this book. I think I’m also going to have to watch the movie Wimbledon this week.
Rosé Sangria – I posted this sangria recipe last week and can’t wait to make it again this weekend with the temperature being about 100. So refreshing and perfect for the pool.
3 Small Updates for Your Bedroom – I’ve been doing a little refresh in my apartment lately, rearranging some artwork and looking for some new accent pillows. I found this article with some ideas for cheap, easy updates to quickly refresh your bedroom when you don’t want to do a full makeover.
Bralettes are major this summer – I’ve been a fan of the bralette for a while and now that summer is in full swing I’m really into this trend. They’re way more comfortable and look chic under all your summer tanks.
#NSale – The Nordstrom sale is here! Today is the first day you can access it without being a cardmember and I am so excited. I’ll have all my favorite picks up in a special post on Saturday to help you navigate the sale and find the best deals.
What are your plans this weekend? Anyone heading for the NSale?
