With this winter weather getting ridiculously cold, my hair has been seriously dry lately. It doesn’t help that I curl and/or blow dry my hair on a daily basis. I know, I know. I’m not supposed to do it everyday but people who say that must not have real jobs where you have to look like a functioning member of society. So I’m sharing my top 5 ways to beat winter hair blahs.
1. Macadamia Professional Deep Repair Masque
This deep repair masque has some serious hydrating power. I tried this after reading some reviews about how amazing this stuff is and I thought I’d give it a go. The reviews were spot on. This masque really gives my hair the hydration it needs, but doesn’t weigh it down.
2. Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk
I have written about this dry shampoo before and there is a reason it stays on the top of all my hair product lists. I especially love this dry shampoo because it doesn’t dry out my scalp, which happens with some dry shampoos. Dry shampoo is also going to give you some volume and help you if your hair is limp from other products or it’s also just over winter.
3. Macadamia Professional No Tangle Brush
Keeping your hair looking shiny and fresh in winter is really helped by using the right tools. I love using a detangling brush on my wet hair because it tends to be gentler while still getting all the tangles out. This one from Macadamia is great because it’s not very big so it’s easy for travel. It’s also just cute.
These hair ties are awesome. I always opt for these soft, durable elastic hair ties. They don’t cause a crease in hair, they are gentle and won’t cause any breakage or tangles like regular hair ties, and they are super cute.
Some days you just don’t want to fight it. Throw on a cute hat while you run errands or meet up with friends for a casual day.
