Gift Guide – Giving Tuesday

giving-tuesday

Did you know that today is Giving Tuesday? I actually wasn’t aware that was an official thing and now I’m feeling kind of stupid about it. Anyway it’s a great chance to donate your money or time to a great cause this holiday season. Another great way to give back for the holidays is to shop from retailers who donate part of their profits to a cause you support. I’m always looking for retailers to shop at that give back.

One of my favorite items I own is this camera strap from Fotostrap. They donate 10% of profits to fotolanthropy, a non-profit that documents inspiring stories. In addition to supporting a great cause, this strap is super high quality. I’ve traveled with mine tons and obviously use my camera on almost a daily basis and my strap still looks brand new. I love personalizing things which makes this a great option for someone special.

You know I love my darling Chuck so any chance I get to buy anything dog related, I take it. I love this t-shirt from The Daily Tay on Etsy. She has tons of cute products and I love to follow her Instagram because she’s hilarious. With the sale of each ‘I Just Want To Hang With My Dog’ tee, 20% of profits are donated to an animal shelter.

The Little Market is one of my favorite online shops. It’s a non-profit co-founded by Lauren Conrad (aka my inspiration for everything) and their mission is to empower female artisans all over the world. The Little Market brings the opportunity for women to sell their products and earn income they wouldn’t otherwise have. I love so many things they sell, but love all the candles like this holiday one and I am obsessed with this cute shopper tote.

I rounded up some of my favorites for you to shop and have an opportunity to do some good while you shop for your loved ones this year!

Fotostrap blush strap – 10% of profits go to fotolanthropy

I Just Want To Hang With My Dog tee – 20% of profits go to an animal shelter

The Little Market – empowers female artisans worldwide

TOMS – for every pair of shoes sold, they donate a pair to a child in need. I love their slippers and really want a pair of booties. They recently started the same program with their eyewear.

Kate Spade On Purpose – products are made by female artisans

Warby Parker – Not only are they an inexpensive, easy to try on option for stylish people, they donate a pair of glasses for every pair sold. I love these classic tortoise shell frames and how most of their men’s glasses are really unisex for my giant head.

Are there any retailers who give back that you love to shop? Leave them in the comments for me!
