Friday Five

friday 15 - sneakers

Now that there’s a new look on A Study in Chic, I’m revamping my Friday 15 into a Friday 5! I’m not necessarily going to be sharing only product roundups on Fridays anymore. To kick things off with swimsuit season pretty much here, I thought I’d share some of my favorite online workout tools.

Barre3

I’ve talked before about my love of Barre3, but I can’t say enough how much I love barre workouts. I have always hated going to a gym or lifting weights. I started Barre3 about a year and a half ago and it’s the first workout I’ve consistently stuck with and haven’t gotten bored of it. It’s all about small, repetitive movements so it’s easy to modify to be easier or harder depending on your abilities. If you don’t live near a Barre3 studio, you can still become a member online for as low as $10/month. You get access to tons of workouts and lots of yummy recipes.

Popsugar Fitness

Popsugar is one of my favorite websites for all things health, fitness, and beauty. They have some of the best free workouts online. Bonus, they have an app so you can easily access the workouts from your phone or ipad. When I used to travel for work all the time, I’d use the app on my ipad to workout in my hotel room. They have lots of workouts and they are grouped by areas you want to target.

Tone It Up

I have heard tons of good things about the Tone It Up workout. I recently started following them on Instagram because they are super motivating without being in your face. I haven’t tried it yet, but definitely would. You can access workouts and recipes for free. You can also buy their products if you sign up for any of their challenges. You can sign up to be a member and be part of the community and get more recipes and discussions. You can also browse the transformations to get some added motivation.

Crunch Live

If you’re into a little more intense workout, you can try Crunch Live. The good part is they offer a free trial so you can see if you really like it before you commit. They have tons of workouts which are based on the classes in person. And you can find workouts to target certain areas. The monthly membership is only $10!

Daily Burn

I wasn’t really familiar with Daily Burn until I moved into my apartment building. It has fitness studio with a projector that has Daily Burn videos available to use. There are tons of videos for all different workouts. You can also start with a free trial, then it’s $13/month. You can set different goals, find recipes, and get personalized advice.
