Friday Five

Friday Five-1

This week has been insane for only being a four day work week. I took the long rainy weekend to relax and do a lot of nothing. I read First Comes Love, Emily Giffin’s new book and it was so good like all her others. I also did a little more KonMari tidying up in my apartment. I reorganized how I fold everything in my drawers and now have so much more space without even getting rid of anything. I’ve mentioned before how I’m slowly getting into the Marie Kondo Art of Tidying Up and every change I’ve done so far has made my apartment feel more roomy and clean.

This week I caught up on my phone’s reading list, anyone else save 100 articles a week to read later? I had quite a few that were so good I wanted to share in this week’s Friday Five.

This summer is all about the f’rosé, frozen rosé! If you haven’t had a chance to try any yet, do so this weekend. I’ve been reading about it everywhere, but loved this Vogue article on it.

I’ve been looking at lots of decor ideas lately for no real reason because I’m in a holding pattern on decorating my apartment at the moment. But I found this article of the best Nancy Meyer’s kitchens and it’s so much pinterest goals. I love the look of all of Nancy Meyer’s movies and It’s Complicated is maybe my dream house.

Trying to dress for dates in the summer is kind of a hassle. Jeans? Dress? Flats? Heels? If you too need some summer date outfit inspiration, this French girl’s guide to summer date style will make your life so much easier!

My big summer obsession is Wimbledon and always has been. I grew up playing tennis and have always loved it. I’ve wanted my whole life to go to Wimbledon and haven’t been yet, but I will make it! Next summer maybe? One of my favorite things is the style, so many great dresses. Check out some of the best outfits so far here.

One of my favorite travel moments was going to Chanel in Paris. It’s such a gorgeous store and was so fun to shop in. This week I came across this article that has loads of pictures of Coco Chanel’s apartment at the 31 Rue Cambon flagship store. These pictures really make me want to give it all up and move to Paris.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Share your plans in the comments!
