My second week of Whole30 is over and I’m feeling really great. I’ve been surprised how much extra energy I’ve had the past two weeks. Cutting out sugar has been especially helpful. I usually feel super tired around 2 or 3 in the afternoon, but haven’t been getting tired at all during the day. I’ve also been incredibly productive the past two weeks and have just been getting tons done.
Lately my casual style has been more on the really casual side. I’ve pretty much only been wearing sweaters, jeans, and sneakers on the weekends. The weather in St. Louis is supposed to be so warm this weekend. I plan on finally getting to wear these new distressed jeans since it won’t be 0 degrees.
I’ve been wearing these sneakers a ton lately. I just picked them up at Nordstrom at Christmas and they are so lightweight and comfy. They are also great for actually working out too. I mean if you’re into that sort of thing.
White sneakers are so popular right now because they look so chic with jeans and a sweater or a mini skirt. They are seriously everywhere and aren’t going anywhere this Spring. Which is awesome because it’s fashion that’s also like one level above yoga pants. I love this pair and think I’m going to have to pick them up soon.
The splurge-worthy sneakers I’ve been coveting the last few weeks are these Lanvin sneakers. They are so cute, but a serious commitment to keeping a pair of sneakers clean. Also I only want to spend a lot of money on high heels, not sneakers. But these would be the exception to that rule for me.
