Casual Fall Style

It seems like October only just began and I’ve looked up to realize the month is almost over already! These past few months have been a crazy, hectic, tiresome ride and honestly I’m kind of ready to say goodbye to October and this time of life. Do you ever just have those times in life where it seems that everything that can possibly go wrong, does go wrong? And Mercury isn’t in retrograde anymore so I can’t even blame that.

It feels like with the change in temperature, I’m starting to feel a little more balanced and a little less stressed to the max. To relieve some of my frustrations I did what any girl does, I called my best friend/sister to meet me to listen to me complain.

Erin and I met up at The Mud House, one of the cutest coffee shops in Benton Park. It’s on Cherokee Street, the most adorable street full of antique shops and restaurants. The Mud House also happens to have some of the most delicious lattes around.

It was also a great excuse to finally take my new Chloe look alike bag out for a stroll other than to the office and home again. It also is a great reason to finally wear some of my casual Fall styles I’ve been saving up with nowhere to wear them yet.

I spend so much time in work clothes that on the weekends lately my uniform has been these seriously comfortable distressed jeans from Topshop and a white t-shirt or sweater.

I know I talk all the time about how much I love my trench coat, like here, here, and here. But this is just another reason to love it so much, it’s perfect for a super casual breakfast date with my sister.
