After moving to Saint Louis in 2014, I started my blog A Study in Chic as a creative outlet. I had left my job in consulting and traveling full-time and found myself with lots of extra time on my hands. I loved the excitement and challenge in creating something that was completely my own to share with the world.
I have been interested in design and style for as long as I can remember. I loved flipping through my mother’s coffee table books as a child. I also love the excitement of exploring someplace new and seeing the world. I find so much inspiration in new places. I knew I wanted to share what I had experienced with everyone else.
The former name, A Study in Chic, was about learning and exploring as much as possible in the art of style, design, travel, and life. It was about the idea of learning something new and in turn creating a life that was chic, whatever that meant to you.
I am so lucky to have such a lovely community of readers. Sharing my life and finds with all of you is so much fun. So thank you for being here!
